Aranda Mae

Not sure why Tilda still doesn't get the fist M when saying Miranda's name, but she doesn't & calls her Aradna.   I am sure all parents at some point question if a child can really be theirs, I am just not sure if they question it for the same reasons I do:  Miranda doesn't like ketchup or sleeping!  I am not sure how MY child could not like ketchup, but alas Miranda does not and would much rather dip her food in "branch."  As for the sleeping, she is trying to stop her naps in the afternoon.  Unfortunately, she still really needs these naps so she's not cranky in the evening.  Hopefully with all the playing in the summer, she will be more willing to take her afternoon nap.  Either way, she's still having quiet time because Mommy & Daddy need some quiet time!

Matilda's Big Days

 Our little Matilda has done quite a bit of growing up since my last post.  At the end of May, she graduated from Pre-Kindergarten.  She was so proud of herself and can't wait for Kindergarten.  Mom on the other hand did a good bit of crying during the graduation and on Tilda's last day at the preschool.

This past weekend, Matilda made her stage debut at her ballet recital.  She absolutely LOVED being on stage (not really sure if this is surprising or not, as she is quite the ham).  She barely got off the stage during the dress rehearsal before she asked her teacher if they could it again.  However, I think she was more excited about wearing make-up than dancing on stage.  I have a feeling we may have diva on our hands!
