It has been a crazy and fun-filled past few weeks! We took full advantage of the crazy 60 degree weather 2 weeks ago by going to the zoo (along with about 3/4 of the area). The whole family thoroughly enjoyed being out in the fresh air and not wrapped up in layers and layers of clothes. The following weekend, we battled the cold and Tilda's fever, to attend Disney on Ice. I knew Matilda would love it (which she did, in spite of the fever), but I was a little worried about Miranda and sitting still for so long. Surprisingly, I had nothing to worry about as she sat, mesmerized, on my lap the entire show. Too bad we can't get her to sit like that during dinner! Both girls enjoyed finger (and feet) painting in the kitchen one day last week (another surprise - it wasn't nearly as messy as I expected). And finally, Matilda enjoyed helping her dad paint his project in the basement (little does she know it is her birthday present - stay tuned to see what it is). All in all, it has been some really good times.

So Far, So Good
Thus far, the new year is going well. The girls had a wonderful time planting plants with daddy. It went surprisingly well and was a lot less messy then I anticipated. One not so wonderful about the new year is that is appears Miranda's resolution is to not sleep with a diaper on. Thankfully, we have caught on to her new habit of undressing in the crib and are usually able to get her diaper back on before there are any accidents. I am a little anxious about the upcoming week as we all get back to our regular routine and schedules. I am keeping my fingers crossed that I am not late to work every day this week!
