So things are somewhat back to normal in our household, that is if you consider at least one member of our household being sick "normal." I got the call from Tilda's school yesterday that she had a slight fever and was complaining that her cheek hurt. So, I took the rest of the day off along with today. She seems to be better, that is unless you want her to do something she doesn't want to do, then she's still sick according to her. Other than being sick, Tilda actually has had a pretty good January. She got to go to Disney on Ice and her first friend's birthday party. She had an amazing time at both events. Matilda has also decided that we should have another baby since Miranda is getting bigger and has gone as far as telling her teachers as much! I was just as surprised as they were that we were having another baby. And I have to admit, I think she looks better in my glasses than I do (second to last picture).
Miranda just can't be stopped these days! She's always on the move and into something (usually something she should not be into). She loves playing with her baby dolls, which is very sweet as she wraps them in a blanket and gives them a bottle. And she loves to give kisses (which is the close-up picture). Her vocabulary is slowly starting to grow. She now says hi, baby, eat, what's that (with pointing) and something that sounds like sister in addition to her baby jabbering. Her sign language is also pretty good and includes eat, drink, all done, more and please. She still hates getting her diapers changed which usually results in us breaking out into sweat while trying to change her. Tomorrow is her ENT appointment, so it will be interesting to see if we can figure out why she's getting all these darn ear infections.
