Fifteen (Almost Sixteen) Month Stats

On Friday Matt & I had the pleasure of taking Matilda for her 15 month well-check. It actually didn't go too bad, much less screaming and crying than the 12 month visit. Matilda is 31.5 inches in length (73rd %), which Matt likes to point out is about half as tall as me. And she weighed in at 19 lb 11 oz (6th %), which is definitely NOT half of what I weigh! Thankfully there was only one shot and at her next visit there will be no shots! Yea!

Ewwww....

The first picture shows Mattie mid "ewww..." She actually looks cute when she does it, but it didn't translate well in the picture (just trust me on that). Matilda is still enjoying her bike rides, although she would rather play with her helmet than wear it. This weekend I put her hair in pigtails for the first time and was pleasantly surprised that she left them alone for the most part. If only she would keep a hat on her head when she's outside, but I'm pretty sure that's a loosing battle.

Turned Around and Bike Rides

Matilda finally got turned around in the car seat this weekend! She just made twenty pounds on our scale, so Matt installed the next car seats in our vehicles (which apparently was one heck of a work out). Hopefully now that she's facing front, Mattie won't be quite so whinny in the car (pretty please let that be the case!). To add to the excitement of the weekend, Mattie took her first bike ride in the trailer this weekend. She didn't seem to love it, but she didn't hate it either. The helmet on the other hand she defiantly did not like, and I'm not sure I blame her.

Finally!

Well, we finally got my computer fixed. It feels like it's been forever since I last posted. Matilda has been a very busy girl. She's been going to swim lessons (which she seems to enjoy more each week), "talking" more (she's getting very good at animal noises too), climbing more (and using her baby doll's head as a step), and getting into all kinds of stuff (I guess that's what everyone meant when they told us "it's all over now"). And for the past 3 weeks I've thought she was getting more teeth, but I still don't see any.

Stupid Virus

That is the reason there has not been any posts for awhile. Hopefully my computer will be virus free early next week and I can post a proper update!
